Spain

Spain became European champion twice. In 1974 Spain defeated West Germany in Madrid. In 2005 (Leipzig) the Spanish men’s national hockey team was too strong for the Netherlands (4-2). At the Belfius EuroHockey Championships 2019 in Antwerp, Spain took the podium with a second place. In the final they were defeated 5-0 by Belgium. Of course they want to at least equal this performance during the EuroHockey Championships 2021.
