Belgium

The Red Panthers work hard to keep pushing the boundaries of Belgian women’s hockey. The team won a medal once at a European Championship so far. This happened under the Dutch coach Niels Thijssen. After the Belgian women came fourth in their own country (Boom, 2013) and fifth in 2015 (London), they won silver at the European Championship in 2017 (Amsterdam). At the last European Championship (2019) in their own country, the Red Panthers ended disappointingly in sixth place.
