When will the EuroHockey Championship 2021 take place?

The EuroHockey Championships 2021 will take place from June 4 - June 13.

Where will the EuroHockey Championship 2021 be played?

The EuroHockey Championships 2021 will be played in the Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam.

Will the EuroHockey Championship 2021 continue despite the corona crisis?

The KNHB currently assumes that the EuroHockey Championships 2021 will be played.

When will the match schedule be announced?

The match schedule has been published on this website.

Is public allowed to be present?

Public may be present at the EuroHockey Championships 2021. Of course, during the tournament, all visitors will be subject to the coronavirus restriction rules in force at the time.

Do I have to be tested to access the venue?

The Dutch government has decided that visitors aged 13 and older must submit a negative corona test. Visitors receive a newsletter about this. We will post detailed information about this on the website as soon as possible.

Travelling from abroad?

Are you traveling to the Netherlands from abroad? Before you travel to the Netherlands YOU MUST read the checklist on the website of the Dutch government. Visitors from abroad must follow all the rules to prevent the spread of coronavirus and they also must go in self-quarantine for 10 days on arrival.

Tickets

When will the ticket sales start?

Ticket sales for the EuroHockey Championships 2021 have started. Make sure you get yours because due to corona measures only a limited number of spectators is allowed.

How do I order tickets?

You can book e-tickets via the website, after which the tickets will be sent to you by e-mail.

How do I make the payment for the tickets?

The Eventim system accepts payments by iDeal and by credit card.

Are the tickets personal?

Yes, the tickets are in the buyer's name. Every visitor must have a personal ticket. Visitors are obliged to identify themselves in accordance with the legal identification requirement (identity card, passport or driving license). If your identity can’t be shown, the visitor can be denied access to the event.

Will I get my money back if no spectators are allowed?

If the situation surrounding the coronavirus changes and the championships must take place in the complete absence of spectators, (behind closed doors) ticket buyers are guaranteed to receive their money back.

Can I leave the site during the tournament and come back later in the day?

No, unfortunately it is not possible to leave the site and return later in the day.

How do I get access to the venue?

Your ticket will be scanned at the entrance, after which you can enter the site. Keep in mind that a bag check will take place after checking your ticket. All this in the context of the safety of the visitors.

What exactly does my ticket give access to?

A ticket gives access to all matches in the Wagener Stadium. The tickets are provided with a seat number. It is very important to sit in the designated chair because of current corona measures.

When will I receive my tickets?

We currently manually place all tickets sold per household. You will receive the tickets from us no later than 2 days before the start of the tournament.

I have bought tickets but I can’t come after all. Can I return them?

No. Tickets cannot be returned to either the KNHB or Eventim. Nor can they be sold to someone else.

Something went wrong with the order or the payment via Eventim. What now?

Contact the Eventim Customer Contact Center on 0031 (0)900-1353 (€ 0.60 p / m).

Can I buy my tickets anywhere else?

Eventim is the only official ticket supplier. You may come across tickets being sold elsewhere for higher prices. The KNHB takes no responsibility for this.

Can I also order for a group?

There is no special group offer. If you want to order tickets for more than 10 people or more, send an email with your request to evenementen@knhb.nl. Keep in mind that the situation is different than before and we can only accept few group requests.

Parking

Where can I park?

It is possible to buy parking tickets for your visit to the EuroHockey Championship in Amsterdam. This car park is within walking distance of the Wagener Stadium. You order your parking ticket directly when buy your tickets.

How do I get to the Wagener Stadium using public transport?

If you are travelling by public transport you can visit 9292.nl/en to plan your personal route to the stadium. The entrance to the Wagener Stadium is located at the Nieuwe Kalfjeslaan in Amstelveen. The bus stop at the corner of the Kalfjeslaan and the Amstelveenseweg is about a 5-minute walk from the Wagener Stadion.
