Car
From Haarlem/Schiphol (highway A9)
Parking at Amsterdamse Bos: take highway A4 to Amsterdam at the interchange ‘Badhoevedorp’. The A4 turns into the ring road A10 Zuid. Take exit ‘Buitenveldert’, turn right at the end of the exit towards Amstelveen (Keizer Karelweg) and follow the signs P1 (enter the address Bosbaanweg 5 in the navigation system).
From Utrecht (highway A2)
Take highway A9 to Haarlem/Schiphol/Amstelveen at the interchange ‘Holendrecht’. Take exit 5 ‘Amstelveen’, turn right at the end of the exit towards Stadshart/Noord (Keizer Karelweg) and follow the signs P1 (enter the address Bosbaanweg 5 in the navigation system).
From Amsterdam
Drive past the Olympic Stadium (Amstelveenseweg) and follow the signs P1 (enter the address Bosbaanweg 5 in the navigation system).
Parking
Everyone who visits the EuroHockey Championships 2021 by car is highly recommended to order parking tickets online. Parking in the area surrounding the venue is for residents only (owning a parking permit). If you do park here, you will risk a fine. There are parking spaces available at the ‘Amsterdamse Bos’ (P1). From there, the entrance to the venue is only a 5-minute walk away.
Public transport
The bus stop at the corner of the Kalfjeslaan and the Amstelveenseweg is about a 5-minute walk from hockeyclub Amsterdam, the event venue. Buses 347, 348, 357 and 358 depart from Central Station in Amsterdam and take different routes. There is also a regular connection to and from Amsterdam, Amstelveen, and Uithoorn on Sundays. Tram 5 and metro 51 stop at Uilenstede. From there, you can walk to the Wagener Stadium in about 15 minutes. Visit 9292.nl (English version) to plan your personal route to the stadium.
